Shortcut Sorbet
Sorbet! Easy to make, low in calories and a sure favorite for guests, sorbet is one of summer's best-kept secrets... and is easily served year-round.

Serves
8

2 cups strawberries
2 cups raspberries
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup frozen pine-orange banana juice concentrate,
      Dole®

Prep time: 10 minutes
Freezing time: 2 hours

PREPARATION:
Wash and drain berries, then place them on a baking sheet and freeze 2 hours until hard. (To save time, buy frozen berries or freeze berries beforehand.)

In a large bowl, combine the frozen berries, water and frozen juice concentrate. Place half the mixture in a food processor and puree until smooth. Repeat with the remaining mixture.

Garnish with fresh berries and serve immediately. Freeze leftovers in airtight Rubbermaid® containers. (Best if used within two days.)

Kid Hint: Pour sorbet into 5-ounce Dixie® paper cups and insert a pop stick in the middle. Freeze for 2hours. To serve, place bottoms of cups under warm running water for 2 seconds. Press firmly on the bottom and slide cup off. Kids love sorbet, too!

Party Hint: For a dynamite dessert and drink in one, serve Sorbet Shooters by simply scooping berry sorbet into a shot glass and topping off with berry liqueur. Keep plenty of sorbet on hand – your guests will be back for seconds... and thirds...
