Ingredients
1 pound ground turkey 1 (5-ounce) container blue cheese crumbles
1⁄2 cup plain bread crumbs
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder
1⁄2 teaspoon salt
1⁄4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1⁄2 cup roasted red peppers, drained
1⁄4 cup mayonnaise
3 cups fresh spinach, stems removed
4 or 5 onion buns, split and toasted
Directions
In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, cheese, bread crumbs, Worcestershire, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined. Shape meat into 4 or 5 patties, depending on desired size.
In a large nonstick skillet, add patties, and cook over medium-high heat for about 6 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
In the work bowl of a food processor or blender, combine red peppers and mayonnaise; pulse until smooth. Set aside.
Layer the burgers and spinach on bottom halves of buns. Spread red pepper mixture evenly over flat side of top halves of buns. Cover burgers with bun tops. Serve immediately with a side salad, if desired.
