2 packets (1.6 ounces each) Alfredo sauce mix, Knorr®
2 cups milk
1 cup half-and-half or light cream
3⁄4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, DiGiorno®
1 jar (2-ounce) diced pimientos, Dromedary®
8 slices fully cooked bacon, Hormel®
8 slices white bread, toasted and crusts trimmed off, Sara Lee®
11⁄2 pounds deli turkey breast,thinly sliced
Preheat broiler to medium-high.
In a large saucepan, combine the sauce mix with the milk and cream. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens. Add 1⁄2 cup of the cheese and pimientos, stirring until well blended.
Heat the bacon in a microwave according to package directions. Meanwhile, for each sandwich, place 2 slices of the toasted bread on four broilerproof plates. Divide the turkey among the plates. Pour a generous amount of sauce over the turkey and sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of the remaining cheese per sandwich. Broil 4 inches from heat until the sauce is brown and bubbly. Remove from broiler and cross 2 slices of the bacon over the top of each sandwich, pressing down slightly. Serve immediately.
