Ingredients

Makes: 6 servings
Cook: 50 minutes
  • No-stick cooking spray, Pam®

  • 24 whole roasted garlic cloves, Gourmet Garden®

  • 1 pound ground beef

  • 1 pound ground turkey or veal

  • 1 pound ground pork

  • 1⁄2 cup grated yellow onion

  • 1 packet (1.12-ounce) meat loaf seasoning mix, McCormick®

  • 1⁄2 cup tomato ketchup, Heinz®

  • 1 cup fresh plain bread crumbs

  • 1 egg

  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

  • 1⁄4 cup finely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley

  • 1⁄4 cup Dijon mustard, Ingelhoffer®

  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar

  • 8 slices thinly sliced bacon

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and spray with cooking spray; set aside.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the garlic cloves, beef, turkey, pork, onion, meat loaf seasoning mix, ketchup, bread crumbs, egg, black pepper, and parsley. Mix with a rubber spatula or clean hands just until the ingredients are combined. Turn the meat mixture out onto the prepared baking sheet and shape into a large loaf. Or divide the mixture into 4 to 6 equal portions and shape into individual meat loaves. Spread the mustard over the top of the meatloaf and sprinkle with brown sugar. Wrap bacon around the meat loaf, tucking in the ends. Bake the meat loaf for 50 to 60 minutes for one large loaf or 25 to 35 minutes for the smaller loaves or until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F.
