Happy hour will be full of cheer when you spring for a round of drinks
on this tall, cool pedestal server. Its happy-go-lucky looks are
just right for a garden party, warm weather luncheon, Mother’s
Day get-together or a summery celebration with friends. Whip up
some frothy Pineapple Fresca cocktails and raise your glasses
high. Or set glasses of fresh daisies – or a single filled-to-the-brim
vase – on top to give any room a lighthearted lift.
Here’s How:
1. Turn a large ceramic serving bowl upside down and hot-glue
a matching cake pedestal on top. The base of the cake pedestal
should be slightly smaller than the bottom of the bowl.
2. Place two narrow 12” green and yellow satin ribbons one
on top of the other and tie the double ribbon around the stem of a cocktail
goblet; clip the ends on a diagonal. Hot-glue a fabric daisy to
the ribbon. Repeat to decorate as many goblets as you need.
3. Fill the goblets with Pineapple Fresca cocktails and
serve on the pedestal.

Pineapple Fresca
Servings: 4
You will need:
blender
serving glasses
1 can (6oz) pineapple juice
1 cup Fresca
3 shots vodka
2 tablespoons frozen limeade concentrate -
Minute Maid
14 ice cubes
lime wheels/lime rind or pineapple wedge, for
garnish
Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend for 30 to 40 seconds,
until frothy. Pour into serving glasses. Garnish with a pineapple
wedge or lime wheel. |
