Picture Perfect

A photo is a happy memory to be enjoyed again and again. To get a custom look, without the custom price, frame it yourself with a readymade frame and a fabric mat that matches your décor. To turn it into an off-the-wall focal point, pair a sports photo with a bowl of baseballs or golf balls, tuck a vacation photo amidst a scattering of shells or top a graduation photo with a tassel and rest it on a stack of books. Your prized photos will attract the attention they deserve and look pretty as picture, too.
 

Here’s How:

1.Remove the back of a store-bought frame. Cut a piece of fabric the same size as the cardboard backing. The fabric should be stiff and unwrinkled, so starch and press, if necessary.

2. Spray the front of the cardboard backing with Spray Mount® adhesive, position the fabric on top and smooth it flat.

3. Spray the back of your photo with Spray Mount® and center it on top of the fabric-covered backing. Let dry and reassemble the frame.

Terrific Tip: To dress it up a bit, hot-glue color-coordinated rick rack, cording or decorative trim around the photo.
